Growing up

No, she is not that woman, anymore. The needy, ready-to-please woman who clung to you like a hangover gone bad.  This woman wants more than a night of one-way pleasure. She will not be, always the first to ask about your wellbeing, any more. So, thank you for not asking.

unequal melody

He forgot her birthday. Miles separated them. But the heart seems to have drifted a greater distance. Reminiscences of a passion is all that seem to remain for him.  For her there always was so much more.  So she stopped trying to please. And it all fell apart so easily.

I can never be her!

She is a perfect girl- who lets you be. I am someone who has an opinion and would like to share that with you.

She is always like- 'Ok, are you busy? That's fine.'

I am like- 'Ok, you are busy but please find time for me honey.'

She is like- 'I'll have you when you come to me.' I am like- 'Come to me, I want you.'

That's the difference.

And who wudn't want her over me...every guy would.. you do!

Please-come-back craving

The sky was filled with red clouds. The fresh-moist wind at 3:30 am was giving her goose bumps. Tiny droplets of rain dripped from the trees. She could feel the lightning and thunder far away. Everything was perfect and so she thought of him.

Nothing she did seem to have moved him since long. No sign of him missing her!

Nightmares

She was woken up by her mom, in the middle of the night, pointed out towards the window. She saw another herself walking in the varandah holding a blue light! She looked back at her mom. The expression on her face told her that the blue-her was now inside her!!

She pulled her outside from her with all the strength. It vanished.

Her dog then came and slept beside her.

Of flashbacks, happy-endings & the reality

Sometimes she wished she was living in a flashback.
Cause then she could watch today from a comfortable vantage point.
Then the present wouldn't have hurt her so much.
Cause then she would already have known about a happy ending...?

Birth and death

It was her birthday. But there was a certain void around her. Her thankyous to everyone's greetings sounded more like a chor. She looked abnormally calm. Her smile was melancholic.

Later, when all had left she said, "I want to sit by a fire beside you."

"It's summers! All okay with you? I am worried sweets."

"Can't wait till the winters... "

He did light up a fire for her that night. It was her last.

Possibilities..

He switched the lights off and pulled the sleeping her towards himself. She smiled with her eyes shut. Today had been a beautiful evening with a long stroll on the beach.

She glowed in the moonlight coming through the window. The sound of the waves was making this moment majestic. Wrapping himself around her, he whispered, "Lady, everything was worth this..."

He had never felt so calm in his life.

Your heart constricts uncontrollably when in one moment’s distraction you realize you are going to miss someone. In that unsettled feeling you reinvent love. In that suddenness you understand attachment. Then, in that awkward stillness you brace yourself once again, to let go.

I have never been good with goodbyes.

Nine months

She looked at the clock ticking by. Each tick giving way; towards a new day. She wondered about the time that had passed by, feeling weak. First each minute and then it grew to heaps of weeks. She would have been a mother today had he made sweet luv to her that night than breaking up with her.
…decisions!!
